Job Summary
Manage community and hospital inquiries by handling all referrals and completing necessary admissions paperwork in a timely manner. Coordinate admissions from the community and hospitals for skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted living move-ins. Verify insurance for all admissions and maintain accurate information in Point Click Care and Allsystems. Provide tours of the nursing center, rehabilitation unit, and assisted living to walk-ins and scheduled appointments while maintaining current knowledge of industry services. Utilize technology to plan and document referral activity, participate in campus promotion events, and attend requested training. Requires flexible scheduling for potential prospects and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Valid Ohio driver's license and acceptable driving record are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Must be computer proficient with moderate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Must be able to manage a fast-paced environment with the ability to shift attention rapidly between priorities
- Willingness to be flexible with work schedule to fit the needs of potential prospects
- Must be accountable and willing to make tough decisions under tight timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and attendance a must
- Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English language
- Required Education: High School Diploma or greater
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in skilled nursing and long term care preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, and Medicaid insurances preferred
- Knowledge of Allscripts and Kettering Health Link preferred
