Job Summary
Answer inquiry calls efficiently and coordinate prospective client screenings and admissions to Clean Recovery Centers. Complete inquiry call forms, obtain demographic and financial information, and forward coverage details to the billing department. Seek medical or clinical approval for prospective clients based on reported conditions and ensure screening criteria are met prior to admission. Obtain necessary consents, identifications, and financial documents required for client intake. Maintain confidentiality of client information, complete daily CRM follow-ups, and provide community awareness education as assigned. Comply with facility policies, participate in staff meetings, and deliver care in a non-judgmental manner while maintaining flexibility for on-call schedules and irregular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in the field of substance abuse
- Knowledge of 12 steps
- Customer service
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of the Principles and Practices of the Substance Abuse Industry
- Knowledge of DCF guidelines
- Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards relating to assessments and competencies
- Suicide/Homicide assessment
- Trauma – Abuse – Neglect
- Mental Status assessment
- Vital signs
- UA testing
- Evaluation for symptoms/risks of needing Detox – seizure risk
- Experience with CRM Software
- Proficiency in Communication & Written skills
- Knowledge of State & Federal Statutes Regarding Client Confidentiality laws
- Knowledge of Drug-Free Workplace
- Knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention
- Knowledge of Corporate Integrity & Compliance
- Familiar with community resources
- Relationships with other Treatment Centers
- Ability to drive
- Must be available for irregular hours based on facility's needs and on call schedule
- Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment 80-90% of the time spent indoors or in an air-conditioned environment
- Ability to handle potential exposure to violent situations
- Ability to handle potential exposure to airborne/blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials
- Ability to deliver care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner, sensitive to client and staff diversity
- Ability to seek corrective criticism and the ability to evaluate suggestions objectively
- Ability to maintain flexibility and adaptability to expected and unexpected changes in the work environment
- Ability to report personal symptoms of suspected illness or contagious diseases to the Infection Control designee
- Ability to maintain safety of the physical environment
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year experience in substance abuse
