Job Summary
Develop and monitor recruitment strategies for an assigned territory, including in-state and out-of-state travel. Build relationships with high school counselors, community college counselors, and community partners while conducting group information sessions and individual appointments for prospective students. Utilize Slate CRM to manage prospect tracking and reporting, evaluate applications to ensure timely admissions decisions, and coordinate events and special projects supporting enrollment goals. Assist the Financial Aid Office as needed and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities. Seasonal evening and weekend work is required during peak periods, with extensive travel by automobile, train, or airplane. A valid driver's license and proficiency with database systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid driver's license
- Prior admissions, enrollment management, recruitment, or related experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience planning, coordinating, or supporting events
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database systems
- Seasonal evening and weekend work
- Extensive travel
- Ability to lift, transport, and move recruitment materials and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during recruitment events and college fairs
- Ability to travel frequently by automobile, train, or airplane
