Job Summary
Guide prospective and new applicants through the admissions process, assisting them in identifying programs that align with their career goals and determining financing methods including FAFSA completion. Manage a student applicant caseload by answering questions, troubleshooting needs, and providing personalized advisement while maintaining student records and generating monthly engagement reports. Collaborate with departments such as Veteran Services and Financial Aid to support the admissions experience, coordinate campus tours, and represent TSTC at community events like high school visits. Utilize software programs to track outreach and follow-up, ensuring compliance with FAFSA and FERPA practices while collecting and reviewing application documents for quality control.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills
- Showcase exceptional multitasking abilities
- Exhibit adaptability to learn and leverage new technologies
- Travel during working hours, up to 25% of responsibilities
- Occasional travel up to 5% of responsibilities that may involve overnight stays
- Occasional availability on nights and weekends
- Complete the federal Employment Eligibility Verification I-9 form
- Present acceptable and original documents to prove identity and authorization to work in the United States
- Pass a criminal history background check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Enrollment Coach or similar one stop enrollment center
- 1-3 years experience in consultative sales or higher education, particularly in recruiting, admissions, records, financial aid, or related fields
