Admissions - Admissions Counselor

Admissions Counselor responsible for promoting Sacred Heart University within an assigned recruitment territory to increase the number of full-time prospective students enrolling and graduating. Plan and execute visits to high schools, represent the university at college fairs, conduct interviews, and maintain contact with inquiries and applicants. Requires heavy travel (day, night, and weekend) 3-6 months per year; build relationships with school counselors and independent counselors; utilize Slate CRM and other tools to track inquiries, applications, and admissions decisions; provide information sessions to prospective families; coordinate with various offices to meet enrollment goals. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team, and a commitment to the university’s Catholic identity and liberal arts education. Bachelor’s degree is required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; valid driver’s license with no violations is necessary. Significant travel and evenings/weekends are typical in this role.
