Admission Representative Part-Time

Job Summary
Responsible to the Director of Admission for recruiting prospective students in an assigned territory. Arrange and execute scheduled personal visits to secondary schools, initiate and maintain communications with prospective students, disseminate information about the college’s programs through various channels, assist with on- and off-campus recruitment events, monitor admission and financial aid application status, conduct research to maximize territory progress, direct recruitment of admission student employees, conduct walking campus tours, assist with mailing projects, and represent the college at events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- extraordinary communication and interpersonal skills
- eagerness to work intelligently, efficiently, and persuasively to meet enrollment objectives
- demonstrated success in team building
- ability to travel (ground and air)
- driver’s license valid in Iowa with driving record acceptable to the college
- willingness to support the mission of Central College as a liberal arts college in the Christian tradition
