Job Summary
Senior Property Administrator role based in Montreal, providing administrative and accounting support to the property management team. Responsibilities include processing invoices for assigned buildings and matching to purchase orders, coding invoices for budget compliance, managing accounts receivable and tenant/property chargebacks, maintaining PO tracking, ensuring vendor inquiries are addressed, assisting in preparing operations and capital budgets, analyzing variances, and coordinating with tenants, suppliers, and maintenance staff. Requires strong organizational skills, bilingual communication, and experience in accounting principles; proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Yardi is an asset. The position emphasizes proactive involvement in environmental and social responsibility within BentallGreenOak’s culture and collaboration with the building operations team.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and knowledge of general accounting principles
- Post-secondary education
- Strong written and oral communication skills in both official languages (French and English)
- Experience in property management is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; knowledge of Yardi is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure
