Direct the day-to-day operations of a skilled nursing facility, directing programs and activities in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Develop and implement policies and procedures, supervise department directors, ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of protected health information, oversee safety, training, and in-service programs, and authorize purchases of major equipment and supplies to support high-quality resident care.
