Administrator

Direct the day-to-day functions of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to assure the highest degree of quality care for residents. Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate facility programs and activities while assisting department directors with policy implementation and professional standards. Ensure all personnel receive training on protected health information management and oversee adherence to safety regulations including fire protection, smoking rules, and infection control. Authorize purchases of major equipment and supplies per established policies. Meet regularly with department directors and lead in-service classes and supervisory training programs. Requires a Bachelor's degree, minimum two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or nursing facility, and a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license.
