Job Summary
Manage global shipping logistics including creation of export documents such as ABD, certificate of origin, and CITES certificates for customs clearance and monitoring of export transactions within the EU and third countries. Coordinate communication with customs authorities, chambers of commerce, and federal agencies while arranging shipment bookings with freight forwarders via air, sea, and land modes. Serve as the primary contact for internal clients regarding shipping inquiries and coordinate return shipments. Requires a commercial vocational training in wholesale/foreign trade or freight forwarding/logistics with at least three years of experience in customs and foreign trade, proficiency in SAP/GTS, and strong English skills. Full-time position based in Hamburg with a fixed term until August 31, 2027.
Required Qualifications
- abgeschlossene kaufmännische Berufsausbildung im Groß- und Außenhandel oder im Bereich Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung
- mindestens 3 Jahre nachgewiesene Berufspraxis im Bereich Zoll, Versand und Außenwirtschaft
- sicheren Umgang mit SAP / GTS
- guten Englischkenntnissen
