Job Summary
Lead a mid-sized hospice program by providing strategic oversight for clinical quality, operational performance, and sustainable census growth. Manage interdisciplinary teams, direct human resources, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of compassion. Develop policies, monitor financial resources, and oversee office operations to achieve strategic goals. Process emergency calls, assess patient care quality, and investigate incidents to implement corrective actions. Collaborate with the Governing Body, physicians, and referral partners to establish performance standards and drive community outreach.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum one year management/supervisory experience
- Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care
- Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment
- CPR Certification
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Three to five years' healthcare sales/management experience
- Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation
- Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for patients and families
