Job Summary
Lead a mid-sized hospice program by overseeing interdisciplinary teams, managing clinical quality, and driving sustainable census growth. Direct daily operations, including financial performance, human resources, and office management, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accrediting agencies. Monitor patient care delivery, process emergency calls, and prepare monthly financial reports to maintain budget adherence. Collaborate with the Governing Body to establish performance goals and implement policies that support service provision.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with minimum of Associate's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum one year management/supervisory experience
- Two or more years' experience in hospice/home care
- Meets all state-specific requirements for the Administrator role
- Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment
- CPR Certification
- Current automobile insurance and valid driver's license
- Strong understanding of hospice regulations, compliance, and Medicare conditions of participation
- Proven ability to manage teams, budgets, and interdisciplinary operations
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate care for patients and families
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing
- Three to five years' healthcare sales/ management experience
- Three years' experience in direct patient care in a clinical setting
