Job Summary
Conduct hands-on training and development under a seasoned Licensed Nursing Home Administrator while rotating through various departments in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility. Manage interrelationships with outside parties and government agencies, and study regulations governing facility operations. Develop basic leadership and management skills, handle business and fiscal accounting, and apply principles of risk management and health care compliance. Candidates must meet state licensure requirements, be able to travel for training, and reside within 40 miles of the facility. This program includes comprehensive education on the interrelationships of the facility with external entities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be located within 40 miles of the facility
- Bachelors' Degree required or currently in a Bachelor's program for Nursing Home Administration
- Administrator in Training candidates must meet the minimum regulatory requirements for licensure in their state of intended residence
- Administrator in Training candidates must be able to travel and attend company training
