Job Summary

Coordinate onboarding and new-hire administration, gather documentation, liaise with payroll and hiring managers to set up new hires in HR systems, and conduct weekly new-hire orientation. Ensure a smooth employee experience, manage BackCheck for new hires, support HR systems (Ceridian, QuestStars, ADP), track contract end dates and work permits, respond to ROE questions, maintain personnel files, and assist with People and Culture projects. Provide advisory support to HR Business Partners, oversee Rewards & Recognition programs, and back up team members as needed. Strong client-facing communication, problem-solving, and initiative are essential, as is comfort with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of HR and/or administrative experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Customer service background
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ownership
  • Problem solving skills and initiative
  • Collaborative and proactive approach
  • Sense of urgency
  • Creative thinker with empathy while adhering to policies and procedures
  • Comfortable with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel)
