Job Summary
Supervise doctoral psychology interns, practicum students, and post-doctoral residents through individual and group sessions. Manage clinical activities including psychological testing and assessment across departments while coordinating the annual match process for the Postdoctoral Residency Program. Implement program design in partnership with leadership, maintain APPIC and APA accreditation, and develop professional conferences and training events. Establish relationships with university-based clinical training programs and serve on health plan committees as assigned. Ensure a high-quality professional training experience for all students in training.
Required Qualifications
- 21-year age
- PH.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an APA accredited program
- Current unrestricted AZ Psychology License
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Licensed Psychologist
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by Department of Public Safety or ability to obtain upon hire
- Must be able to provide quality clinical consultation/supervision to staff and trainees regarding a range of member populations including adults, adolescents and children
- Required to have knowledge of issues affecting general mental health and SMI populations and effective/evidence based clinical interventions
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years providing supervision for psychology interns highly preferred
- Experience working in an APA accredited training program
- Experience working in an APPIC member program
- Knowledge of the APA Standards of Accreditation
- Knowledge of the APPIC member criteria
- One year providing supervision for psychology trainees
