Job Summary
Administrator LNHA role overseeing day-to-day operations of a nursing home facility in Waterville, OH. Directs facility operations in accordance with federal, state, and local standards to assure the highest quality care for residents. Provides leadership to staff and supervisors, leads a team to implement a comprehensive business plan, ensures resident satisfaction with care, maintains positive customer service relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, and ensures effective communication across teams. Requires LNHA license in good standing, 1–2 years of Nursing Home Administrator experience, and knowledge of medication administration protocols, care planning, and healthcare operations management.
Required Qualifications
- LNHA License must be in good standing with knowledge of the state guidelines / regulations
- 1 to 2 years’ experience as a Nursing Home Administrator
- Lead the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a company/facility business plan that focuses on all aspects of the facility operations
- Meet regularly with the residents of the facility to ensure that they are satisfied with the delivery of care
- Exhibits and promotes a positive customer service relationship to both internal as well as external customers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in home care, nursing home administration, or senior care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and care plan development is essential
- Familiarity with operations management principles in a healthcare environment is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members
