Job Summary
Director of the Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LCHSA) in NY, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, patient-centered home care services across New York State. Oversees day-to-day operations to ensure regulatory compliance with NYSDOH standards; develops and monitors policies and procedures; readies the organization for audits and surveys; supervises a multidisciplinary team (RNs, patient care coordinators, and home health aides); ensures proper documentation, registry verification, and electronic health record systems; and leads quality oversight and performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in home care or a Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LCHSA)
- Strong working knowledge of New York State home care regulations
- Hands-on experience using the New York State Home Care Registry
- Demonstrated operational management experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Preferred: Prior experience serving as an Administrator or Director in an LCHSA
- Preferred: Experience preparing for and managing NYSDOH audits or surveys
- Preferred: Background in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
