Job Summary
Manage the overall operation and direction of the facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local regulations, and accrediting standards to protect resident and staff safety. Oversee all departments for program management, effectiveness, and efficiency while evaluating initiatives and implementing Legacy policies. Supervise business affairs, including budget adherence, financial reporting, and staff selection, training, and evaluation. Lead the Interdisciplinary Team, conduct daily and quarterly quality assurance meetings, and develop emergency preparedness plans. Ensure physical property maintenance, resident care quality through QAPI monitoring, and accurate referral approvals. Maintain accreditation, participate in community events, and represent the facility professionally to residents, families, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Freedom from illegal use of drugs.
- Freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
- No history of being found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting or mistreating individuals in a health care related setting.
- Bachelor's degree (as required by the state's Board of Examiners of Nursing Facility Administrators)
- Active Nursing Facility Administrator License (appropriate state)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Long-Term care setting preferred but not required.
