Manage the total operation of the assigned nursing home in compliance with state and federal regulations, including profit and loss responsibility and quality assurance. Plan systems of care, staffing patterns, and policies within the established budget while overseeing business functions such as admissions, payroll, and receivables. Hire, direct, and discipline facility personnel; establish the Manager on Duty program; and market services to families and the community. Conduct daily rounds, attend at-risk meetings, and lead QAPI initiatives to ensure clinical integrity and regulatory compliance. Travel for multiple days as needed for disaster planning or facility coverage.
