Job Summary

Ensure facility compliance with all federal and state regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients, families, and staff. Prepare and operate within the annual budget, manage financial records, and supervise team performance to meet census goals. Implement departmental policies, interpret laws governing post-acute care, and serve as an effective community representative. Uphold patient rights, safety, and sanitation standards while communicating productively on interdisciplinary teams. Learn under a seasoned administrator to develop leadership skills in quality patient care, financial operations, and human resources.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Read and interpret financial records and reports
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training
  • Ensure facility is compliant with all Federal & State
  • Ensure facility is clean and safe for the comfort, convenience and safety of patients, families, and staff
  • Serve as effective representative for company so facility is viewed as provider of choice in that community
  • Ensure census goals are met
  • Prepare and operate within annual budget (approved by RVP and DVP)
  • Effectively supervise team
  • Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients
  • Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team
  • Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language

Desired Qualifications

  • Three (3) or more years' successful post-acute care experience preferred
