Job Summary
The Administrator at Everstory is a multi-faceted contributor on the location team, learning multiple parts of the business while supporting customers and colleagues. Responsibilities include creating a customer-focused environment through answering phones, scheduling appointments, onboarding team members, and assisting location leadership; contract processing and quality control; banking duties (cash receipts, deposits, credit card transactions); cemetery daily processing of IOAs; file maintenance and record keeping; HR onboarding duties; accounts payable and accounts receivable; handling deeds and certificates; processing memorial orders; participating in daily white-board meetings; and supporting reporting requirements. Core competencies emphasize compassion, customer focus, and ethics/values. Requires basics in multi-line phone use, filing, data entry, typing, and proficiency with Word/Excel; a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; high school equivalency; and at least one year of administration or customer-service experience. Availability to work some holidays, evenings, and weekends is expected. Required Qualifications
- Basics: Multi-Line phone skills required.
- Filing skills (Alphabetically).
- Ability to type 40 words per minute with minimal errors and data entry skills.
- Basic math and computer skills including word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) applications or Google equivalents.
- Customer Focus: Ability to abide by all company policies and keep all employee and customer information confidential.
- Team Focus: Proficient organizational skills. Ability to multitask efficiently and work well independently or as part of a team.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have access to a personal vehicle for some locations.
- High School equivalency required.
- Minimum of one-year experience in administration or customer service.
- This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
