Job Summary
Seasoned executive role leading day-to-day operations of a county health department. Oversees accreditation efforts, strategic planning, CHA/CHIP processes, grant writing and administration, emergency preparedness, and organizational performance. Directs budgets and resource allocation, ensures compliance with health laws and standards, and represents the department at community and governmental functions. Serves as Acting Health Commissioner when designated and collaborates with partners to advance public health initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Three to five years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience
- Valid Ohio driver's license
