Job Summary
Monitor the effectiveness of the Aerodrome Safety Management System and provide direct support to the Aerodrome Safeguarding Unit to assure safe and efficient operation of aerodrome and terminal facilities. Assure occurrence record management systems remain up-to-date, execute safety inspections, and report findings. Issue periodical statistical reports, maintain documentation for Safety Performance Indicators, and compile data for Safety Review Board and Local Runway Safety Team meetings. Determine content for Safety Alerts and participate in safety promotion campaigns while planning annual training and proficiency assessments. Requires clear communication in Maltese and English, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage workloads within a high-performance culture.
Required Qualifications
- Be able to communicate clearly both in Maltese and English
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be knowledgeable in Office particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Be energetic, self-motivated and with a positive mind-set
- Be highly organised
- Be capable of working well within a team
- Have the ability to effectively plan and manage own workloads
