Job Summary
Review and process licensure and certification applications, ensuring accuracy of documents such as transcripts and exam scores. Issue, renew, audit, reinstate, and inactivate licenses in accordance with state regulations while maintaining and updating licensing data using the My License Office (MLO) system. Prepare materials for board meetings, coordinate logistics, and respond to inquiries from applicants, licensees, and the public regarding requirements and statutes. Perform general office tasks including answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining records. This role supports health professionals across Nebraska through efficient and accurate licensure administration within the Occupational Licensure Team at the Department of Health and Human Services.
