Job Summary
Review staffing for each unit shift and assist the charge nurse to assure adequate coverage during shortages. Make rounds to provide managerial presence, assist new personnel, and act as a resource for the nursing staff. Resolve conflicts, respond to safety codes, and advocate for necessary supplies or resources. Listen to staff concerns and effectively resolve issues while resolving patient and family complaints when needed. Provide information to nurse managers regarding quality and employee problems, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and safety standards. Complete required annual education assignments and participate in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN license
- CPR
- Three (3) years of clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the teaching of nursing
