Job Summary
Administrative Specialist (Junior) supporting the SAF/AQ and Headquarters Air Force at the Pentagon. Responsibilities include scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars, tracking travel arrangements, processing travel orders and vouchers in DTS, setting up and maintaining file plans, coordinating with SAB members and external stakeholders on travel-related items, tracking travel/order statuses, creating/editing MS Access and SharePoint databases, performing reconciliations between databases, and maintaining records in accordance with government administrative policies. Requires an Active Secret Clearance, a Bachelor’s degree (or approved substitutions), 3 years of administration experience in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment, knowledge of JFTR travel and Privacy Act regulations, proficiency with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Access and SharePoint, and strong attention to detail. Telework is eligible due to COVID with on-site 4-5 days per week; future onsite requirements may increase.”,
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent with substitutions: 6 years’ work experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree or 4 years' experience + Associate's degree may substitute)
- 3 years administration experience in fast-paced, high visibility environment
- Strong knowledge of JFTR travel and Privacy Act regulations
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access and SharePoint
- Strong attention to detail
