Job Summary
Administrative Specialist I (Part-Time) provides complex administrative, secretarial, and confidential support to a division manager or senior staff. Responsibilities include composing, proofreading, and editing correspondence, memos, spreadsheets, minutes, logs, and reports; scheduling meetings and coordinating materials; handling restricted, sensitive records; researching and responding to information requests; planning and coordinating division-wide activities; and potentially guiding or supervising lower-level staff. Required competencies emphasize customer service, professionalism, integrity, organizational excellence, and teamwork; strong written communication, problem solving, and ability to work with confidential information are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in related area; AND Two (2) years of administrative/secretarial experience; OR An equivalent combination of education (not less that possession of a High School diploma/GED), training and experience that would reasonably be expected to provide the job-related competencies noted above.
