Job Summary
Maintain, research, and verify sex offender registration documents to ensure the registry meets state and federal statutory requirements. Interpret laws, rules, policies, and procedures to determine registration obligations and compliance, and take action to protect the public by releasing information when appropriate. Work with a high degree of independence under general supervision in an in-office setting (no hybrid/remote). Responsibilities include applying interpretations to registration obligations, ensuring accuracy of the sex offender registry, and handling administrative data collection and analysis. Requires effective verbal and written communication, ability to utilize resources and independent judgment, and familiarity with Microsoft programs. Required Qualifications
- Three years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis
- OR An associate degree in general office occupations and two years of secretarial or administrative support experience that includes coordinating office procedures, preparing narrative and statistical reports, and administrative data collection and analysis
- OR An equivalent combination of education and experience
