Job Summary
Provides comprehensive administrative support for the Curriculum department and acts as primary clerical and administrative support for grant programs; manages general office duties, bookkeeping for multiple federal/state grants, submits grant applications and budget transfers using the VDOE OMEGA system, processes invoices and purchase orders, and coordinates with principals, bookkeepers, and staff on grant allocations, timelines, and compliance; requires strong organizational, communication, and typing skills, and ability to maintain accurate financial records and associated documentation for grant expenditures; duties include file organization, reporting preparation, records maintenance for various funding areas, and coordination with Payroll and Human Resources.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent, supplemented by coursework in business, typing, bookkeeping, or office administration, and experience in clerical/administrative/accounting work.
