Job Summary
Administrative Secretary 2 in the Instructional Services Division supports the Director with a wide range of secretarial and clerical duties: answering and screening calls, typing correspondence and required reports, maintaining records, data entry in multiple systems, preparing meeting materials, arranging travel and processing reimbursements, coordinating purchase orders and budgeting-related tasks (Carl Perkins, CTE), scheduling buses for field trips, assisting with newsletters, and handling communications with parents, teachers, students, and administrators. Requires strong organization, basic arithmetic, independent work capability, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and related district tools. This is a full-time, 12-month role with standard school-year hours (7:30 am–4:30 pm) reporting to the Director of Instructional Services. EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER. Revised May 2026.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in administrative/secretarial duties
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
