Job Summary
Coordinate administrative tasks including scheduling, travel planning, and routine correspondence; organize and schedule duties of department staff; provide backup for administrative staff; assist with training and in-service instruction; assist in preparation and maintenance of contracts and proposals; coordinate office facilities, equipment, purchasing, and space planning/lease; organize meetings, training, and events; may assist HR with interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and maintaining employee records; coordinate payroll, invoices, accounts payable, and develop systems and operations reports; perform timekeeper responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in related field
- 2-3 years of experience in administrative support or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills to manage relationships
- Reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
