Administrative Nurse - Reception and Treatment Center

Supervises nursing and direct care staff in the delivery of nursing services within a correctional facility. Coordinates inmate patient care treatment plans with clinical staff, resolves conflicts between patients and employees, maintains current Nebraska RN licensure and completes required training, administers nursing service activities and performs nursing tasks in emergencies, and conducts performance evaluations of subordinate nursing staff. Pre-service training through the NDCS and background checks/drug testing are part of the onboarding process; responsibilities include ensuring competency and professionalism in a security-sensitive healthcare environment. The role emphasizes supervisory duties, coordination of care, compliance with licensure requirements, and adherence to NDCS values.
