Job Summary
Administrative Nurse responsible for onboarding and on-going educational enrichment to staff, clients and families; provides administrative support of quality/compliance measures, marketing, and recruitment for the branch office; participates in candidate-to-new-hire process, interviewing, orientation, and training; assesses learning needs and competencies of direct patient caregivers; coordinates orientation and training programs; maintains relationships with Case Managers, hospital staff, physicians, families and clients to promote awareness of services and referrals; acts as communication liaison and care coordinator; engages in continuous quality improvement and management programs; occasionally attends client shifts to assess and provide specialized care; completes and maintains clinical/progress notes, documentation, files, and records; provides direct patient care within the scope of license as needed; aligns with PHS guiding principles and mission in daily work; fosters positive relationships and communication across staff and offices; adheres to all policies and procedures; maintains regular attendance; performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensed in good standing with applicable state board of nursing (multiple states may be required)
- Two years of experience working as a Licensed Vocational Nurse including Pediatric home health
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certified
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- KanTime Healthcare Software experience preferred
