Job Summary

Administrative Manager provides leadership on non-academic activities and administrative management in EDCP, working closely with the Department Head on strategic planning, direction, and development of operations. Responsible for overall operational and administrative management including finance, human resources, administration, facilities, support services, organizational infrastructure, and communication for the Department of Curriculum and Pedagogy (EDCP) in the Faculty of Education. This is a full-time key staff leadership position; duties include management of financial resources (budgets and expenditures), HR management (staff, faculty, and graduate appointments), administration (timetabling, course scheduling, policies, and procedures), facilities management (space allocation, equipment, safety), and liaison with multiple university offices. Requires extensive knowledge of university policies, strong judgment, independent work, and ability to oversee department operations and ensure compliance with funding and institutional guidelines. Supervises administrative staff and collaborates with faculty, Dean’s Office, HR, IT, and other units to support EDCP’s operations and mission.
