Job Summary
Supervise staff accountants and analysts while producing monthly financial statements, managing general-ledger reconciliations, and overseeing month-end closing. Analyze financial results, budgets, and cash flow to support management decisions, then manage accounts receivable, collections, and credit limits. Oversee accounts payable, vendor invoice processing, and payment schedules. Manage recruiting, onboarding, payroll coordination, and employee relations while maintaining compliance with employment and tax laws. Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, and banks. Maintain internal controls and written administrative procedures. Ensure customer pricing, margin analysis, and asset tracking align with company policies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of proven successful Office Management, Human Resources, Business Management or Finance, Accounts Receivable, and Administrative Management experience
- Knowledge of Employee laws in Texas and New Mexico
- Average tenure of at least 2 years over the past 5 years; fewer than 3 employers over the past 5 years
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred with nearly perfect grammar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel & Outlook Emails) and Adobe Acrobat, and overall advanced computer competence required
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coachability, interpersonal, organizational, and verbal/written communications skills
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or accounting required
