Job Summary
Review correspondence to ensure consistency with Navy policies and procedures. Administer the Site Mail Management Program, including picking up and dropping mail to/from the local post office. Manage the Site Files and Records program, ensuring accurate filing and proper record disposal. Create and prepare message traffic for review and release upon leadership approval. Prepare award packages and military retirement-related correspondence. Manage the Check-In/Check-Out process, coordinate travel, and prepare no-cost TAD orders. Oversee the Activity's Printing Program and Directives Program. Prepare fitness reports and forward them for signature. Fulfill Privacy Act Office Administrator responsibilities, including semi-annual audits. Set up classrooms, prepare graduation certificates, and coordinate training schedules. Maintain training documentation on TWMS, MyNavyPortal, and other websites. Draft daily Muster reports, maintain the IA checklist, and manage PII security. Track funding balances and coordinate purchase orders. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 6:25 AM to 4 PM at CENSECFOR in San Diego.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency
- Four (4) years administrative experience
- At least two (2) years in a Navy or Marine Corps environment
- Valid Driver's license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
