Job Summary
Administrative Coordinator to ensure the efficient daily operations of the Chair’s office and support the department’s strategic goals. Responsible for overseeing faculty recruitment, tenure and promotion, performance evaluations, sabbaticals, and academic appointments; manage the Chair’s calendar, travel arrangements, and confidential files; coordinate onboarding and immigration procedures for new faculty, support departmental events and communications, and provide guidance on policies and procedures. Serves as a primary point of contact with faculty and staff, handling confidential information and coordinating documentation, reporting, and compliance with university policies.
Required Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of senior administrative experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently and accurately
- Experience handling confidential information with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting recruitment and promotion of faculty members is preferred
- Experience maintaining websites and creating web forms is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook Calendar, SharePoint, Teams, Adobe, WCMS3, Workday, Watprocure, Concur, and Immigration forms
