Job Summary

Administrative Coordinator I provides administrative support for a unit or specialized activity under general supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance. Responsibilities include coordinating high-level administrative operations, potentially serving as office manager, monitoring procedures, preparing sensitive reports with high visibility, coordinating travel and meetings, maintaining files and records, assisting with admissions for the Division of Health Professions, may supervise staff or student workers, and acting as liaison with the dean's office and other departments. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and two years of related experience, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and related administrative systems; preferred experience with DocuSign, FAMIS, Banner, Canopy, Workday, Qualtrics, and Canvas.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Planning and organization skills
