Job Summary

Administrative Coordinator for the Graduate Center for Career Development (CCD) at Babson College. The role provides administrative support to CCD operations, plans and executes career events, and fosters student engagement through daily interactions and coordination of program logistics. Serves as the primary contact for students and Babson community, delivering professional, responsive, and student-centered service. Works with CCD staff and campus partners on events, communications, and operational initiatives; supports front desk operations, student workers, CPT internship processes, reporting on student engagement, and calendar/travel scheduling for leadership. Involves coordinating career fairs, orientations, and other programs, maintaining Career Connect (12twenty) data, and collaborating with alumni coaches and professional branding specialists; requires strong organizational skills, customer service focus, event coordination experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. This position is primarily in-person with the flexibility for remote work one day per week at the manager’s discretion.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree
  • At least 2-4 years of administrative, operations, or program coordination experience (higher education or student services environment preferred)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and positive student experience focus
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience coordinating events, programs, or logistics with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively solve problems; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Interest in continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and student experience
  • Ability to propose new methods to perform tasks supporting innovation; adaptability to changing initiatives and solutions
  • Willingness to work in an in-person role with some remote work as described
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) or student systems such as 12Twenty preferred
