Job Summary
Provide general administrative support including maintaining accurate data entry, managing phone coverage, and organizing the filing system. Assist with intake paperwork, client files, and site management while offering on-site technical support to all staff. Monitor office supplies, process payroll, and support HR and psychiatric department needs. Identify process improvements and make suggestions to the Administrative Supervisor. Requires a valid California driver's license, physical fitness for travel up to 100 miles, and proficiency in Microsoft products.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
- six months of previous administrative support experience in a similar role
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft products
- valid California driver's license
- personal automobile insurance
- driving record that meets the standards outlined in the Agency's Policy: Motor Vehicle Operating Standards
- physically and mentally fit in accordance with the Agency's Policy: Physical Fitness Standards and Examinations
- willingness to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) test
- willingness to complete a drug screening test
- completion of a personal background investigation conducted by the State of California
- willingness to work within a culturally integrated workplace
- willingness to respect human differences based upon protected classes as defined by state, federal and local laws
- adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in a residential, office or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), alternating between standing and sitting for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching balancing and occasional carrying and lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 10 pounds frequently
- ability to walk up and down stairs routinely
- ability to perform CPR and First Aid as trained
- ability to sit for prolonged periods of time in a vehicle for traveling to recreational activities, home visits, DCFS and court locations which may be up to 100 miles driving distance
- ability to utilize computer and telephone systems, which includes the coordination of eye and hand and fine manipulation by the hands and fingers for typing, writing and working with files
