Job Summary
Administrative Associate responsible for office management and comprehensive administrative support in Ankara, including finance, HR and procurement duties, recruitment support for General Service staff, budgeting, and travel/event management. The role involves ensuring a healthy, compliant operating environment, maintaining records in ERP systems (e.g., Cloud ERP/PeopleSoft), coordinating with suppliers and government officials, and providing guidance on administrative rules and procedures. Strong Turkish language skills and experience with travel policies and FRIT project implementation are highly valued; the position requires frequent liaison with staff at multiple levels and may involve supervision of support staff. This is an on-site role in Ankara, Türkiye, with a focus on day-to-day administrative and operational tasks within the UNHCR Administration and Finance Unit.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years relevant experience with G6 or 2 years with Bachelor or equivalent or higher
- Experience in office management, administrative, finance or HR tasks
- Knowledge of administrative rules, regulations and procedures
- Ability to supervise staff
- Experience in recruitment and staff support
- Travel policy knowledge and travel management experience
- Turkish language proficiency
