Job Summary
Administrative Assistant to support the Department of Cultural Preservation: handles routine administrative functions including managing databases, maintaining calendars, planning meetings, generating correspondences, assisting with operational budgets, filing and records management, data collection via Excel and Access, processing invoices and disbursements, scheduling and documenting meetings, handling calls and messages, managing office supplies, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication and multi-tasking skills, and ability to work varied shifts including weekends. Must have a valid Texas driver license and pass post-offer drug screen and background check.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years working experience in an office environment as an administrative assistant
- Must possess valid Texas Driver License and be insurable
- Must be able to successfully pass a post-offer drug screen and a criminal background investigation
