Job Summary
Administrative Assistant provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations of the program and department. Responsibilities include data tracking and record maintenance, coordinating projects and events, managing correspondence and calendars, preparing reports and memoranda, handling data entry and file management, supporting staff with computer-generated reports, coordinating staffing and scheduling, ordering supplies, and operating standard office equipment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. The role supports youth-centered services within a trauma-informed residential behavioral-health program, with duties including maintaining professional conduct and adhering to guidelines and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of general office experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply organizational guidelines and procedures.
- Must maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Must meet state criminal background check and pre-employment screening requirements.
