Job Summary
Administrative Assistant position supporting the USARC Psychological Health Program (PHP) within the 63rd Readiness Division at Ft. Cavazos, TX and the 81st Readiness Division in Spartanburg, SC. Provide administrative coordination and support for program coordination, recordkeeping, reporting, and liaison functions for RDPHs, NCMs, and the RDPH-TL. Responsibilities include coordinating and consulting with RC leadership on behavioral health case management, planning regional meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, delivering verbal and written program reports to COR, managing calendars and logistics for staff, maintaining case records and documentation in compliance with DHAPM 6025.13, submitting monthly MSRs and training certificates, serving as installation access coordinator (CAC processing and pass management), supporting data entry and management in program information systems with PII safeguards, and delivering high-quality customer service to Soldiers, families, and RC personnel. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of administrative experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment, and an eligible background check and CAC eligibility. Optional qualifications include some college coursework, DoD or federal government contract experience, and CAP certification. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with limited travel and potential weekend availability; contingent upon contract award. Location: Fort Cavazos, TX (63rd Readiness Division).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of relevant administrative or office support experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace
- Experience managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment; strong organizational and communication skills
- Clear FBI/state background check required
- U.S. citizenship or authorized work status; ability to obtain CAC (Tier 1 investigation)
- Preferred Skills/Experience: Some college coursework or vocational training in business administration, office management, or a related field
- Experience supporting DoD programs, military units, or federal government contracts
- Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) credential
