Job Summary

Administrative Assistant to support the Chief Veterinary Officer and the Equine Drugs and Medications Program. Responsibilities include assisting with equine drug and medication questions, stall-side applications, FEI-permitted treatment processes, horse show scheduling, medication report form searches and analysis, development of materials and presentations on Equine Drugs & Medication Rules, maintaining records, preparing written summaries from various documents, responding to inquiries, coordinating travel, meetings, and agendas, taking and distributing minutes, recording expenses, and providing exceptional member service. Requires excellent verbal and written communication, strong customer service, proficiency in Microsoft Office, organizational skills, attention to detail, basic clerical procedures, and ability to work independently. Education/experience: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; some college preferred; two years clerical or customer service experience preferred; equine/pharmaceutical background or Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.
