Job Summary
Answer and transfer phone calls, screen inquiries, and direct visitors and clients while maintaining excellent customer service. Maintain filing systems, retrieve information from records and documents, and prepare written summaries of data. Coordinate travel, meetings, and appointments for managers; prepare agendas, schedule events, and record and distribute meeting minutes. Manage office supplies, coordinate equipment maintenance, and track expenses and petty cash usage. Adhere to HIPAA regulations, maintain patient confidentiality, and complete annual compliance training. Work Monday through Friday with a starting salary of $20.00–$25.00.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years Administrative Assistant experience
- Healthcare environment experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Skill in using computer programs and applications including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping and filing
- Knowledge of research methods and procedures sufficient to compile data and prepare reports
- Decision-making and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Complies with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Complies with all health and safety policies of the organization
