Job Summary
Administrative Assistant at the Kortright Centre for Conservation (Education & Training) handling front desk reception, visitor check-ins, and a broad range of administrative tasks. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, coordinating venue spaces, processing payments and deposits, supporting senior managers with minute-taking, committee support, and documentation, managing accounts payable and budgeting records, preparing reports, procurement support, maintaining up-to-date team materials, and ensuring confidentiality. Requires college diploma in Business Administration or related field, First Aid and CPR level C, Vulnerable Sector Screening, and 2+ years of administrative/clerical experience. Proficiency in MS Office and collaboration tools (MS Teams, WebEx, SharePoint) and strong organizational, communication, and customer-service skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of college diploma in Business Administration or a related field
- First Aid and CPR level C
- Vulnerable sector screening
- 2+ years of experience providing administrative, clerical, records and project support
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (including MS Teams, WebEx, and SharePoint)
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong customer service and front desk/visitor management experience
