Administrative Assistant to Superintendent and School Board

Job Summary
Provide executive-level administrative support to the Superintendent and serve as secretary/support liaison to the Board of Education. Responsibilities include managing the superintendent’s calendar and travel, preparing correspondence, reports, and official documents, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining confidential records, facilitating board meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring compliance with state open meeting laws, and supporting district communications and public relations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and the ability to work independently with strong organizational and confidentiality skills are required. This is a twelve-month, full-time role based in Prescott, Arkansas, with evening board meeting attendance expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior executive administrative experience preferred
- Experience in education or governmental settings preferred
- Ability to obtain any required state certifications or training
