Job Summary
Administrative Assistant in the Hoffman Equipment Yard supports the on-site team with a broad range of administrative and clerical duties, reporting to the Equipment Yard Office Manager and collaborating with internal/external partners. The role is fully in-office and involves managing yard facilities, ensuring equipment/materials are well-maintained on deliveries to project sites, negotiating purchase and rental agreements, conducting annual rental-rate audits, reviewing and distributing rental invoices, assessing damages and coordinating repairs, evaluating equipment purchases for cost/benefit, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires proficiency with Windows and MS Office 365 (incl. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and knowledge of-related tools like Bluebeam and JD Edwards Enterprise One is preferred; strong written/oral communication, teamwork, time-management, and ability to work in a large professional setting are essential. Physical requirements include climbing ladders/scaffolds, lifting up to 25 pounds, outdoor work, and operating vehicles with a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
