Job Summary
Support the mission of Lindenwood University by providing routine customer service and performing clerical/administrative duties. Respond to student, colleague, and community needs through phone, email, and appointment management while writing, editing, and proofreading documents. Maintain office supply inventory, compile data aggregation reports, and organize filing systems using word processing and database skills. Collect and compose correspondence for department staff, ensuring timely and courteous service. Work 20 hours per week, Monday through graduation, with 50% of positions reserved for Federal Work Study students.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled at Lindenwood University
- Good academic and financial standing with the University
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Strong professional integrity
- Ability to use good judgement and think critically
- Basic research skills
- Ability to learn and apply institutional policies and procedures
- Ability to work effectively at a computer for up to eight hours daily
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift/carry items commonly found in an office setting including, but not limited to, documents, laptops, keyboards, etc.
